Refer a Patient

We assess and treat the following eyelid conditions:

• Heavy or drooping upper eyelids, including where they affect vision (upper-eyelid blepharoplasty)
• Eyelid lumps and bumps, including chalazia, cysts and skin tags (lesions, chalazia & skin tags)
• Eyelids that turn in or out (entropion and ectropion)
• Persistent watery eye (punctoplasty)
• Dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction (dry eye / MGD)
• Blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm (botulinum toxin treatment)

This is not an urgent service. Please use your usual urgent pathway, rather than a routine referral to us, for:

• Sudden loss or change of vision
• A painful red eye
• A lesion you suspect may be cancerous

• The patient’s name, date of birth and contact number
• The reason for referral and any relevant findings
• Relevant medical history and current medication, including any blood thinners
• Confirmation that the patient is aware of, and happy with, the referral
• Your name, practice and contact details, so we can reply

• We contact the patient to arrange a consultation with Rupinder
• Rupinder assesses the patient and talks through the options, including whether treatment is needed
• Treatment prices are confirmed at the end of the consultation, as The Eyelid Studio is a private service
• We write back to the referring clinician with our findings and plan
